On 29th and 30th October 2007, Finance and Economics High School, Sofia - Bulgarian-Austrian Educational Project is closed.

On 24th October 2007 Diana Ivanova participated in General Meeting of Cambridge Schools Association.  Professional High School of Tourism is a member of the Association.

On 4th May 2007 Professional High School of Tourism celebrated its 44th anniversary organizing the traditional culinary exhibition.

On 2nd May 2007 Professional High School of Tourism, Gabrovo brings into use compulsory school uniforms for all students. This initiative was approved by parents’ community. With the new uniforms students are proud to declare their belonging to one of  the most best schools in the country.

On 20th April 2007 in Princess Hotel – Sofia, Association of Bulgarian High School of Tourism organized annual meeting. Diana Ivanova, the principal of Professional High School of tourism was elected to be the secretary of the Association.

On 19th April 2007 a History and Civilization competition was held. It was dedicated to our National hero Vasil Levskiy. Petya Ivanova, a student from XI B class placed first and she took part in the National competition.

On 18th April 2007 The 8th national student competition “Protective measures during natural calamities accidents and disasters” – Burgas 2007” The school team (Vladimir Kavalov from VIII A class, Natalya Todorova from VIII A class, Joana Bohzhidarova – VIII B class, Ivailo Ivanov from VIII B class, Kristian Kolev from VIII B class) placed third.

On 18th April 2007, as a tradition, student from 11th and 12th classes met local employers from the regard tourist branch.

On 3rd  and 4th April 2007 The 5th Bulgarian Teachers Union Congress was held. Diana Ivanova, the Principal of the school was elected to be the chair woman at the Central Auditing Committee.

On 18th March 2007, Nikolai Savchev from X A class took part in the regional round og Geography and Economics Olympiad and he was classed for the National round on 27th and 28th April.

In March 2007 Professional High School of Tourism entered into a contract with employers from Albena – for training students in Albena hotel chains.

Barman, cook and waiter contest was held.

On 11th October 2006, in Sevlievo, National youth science achievements festival was held. Velizar Gutov from X A class presented his invention Geohron-1.

In July and August 2006 - carrying out practical classes in a company abroad /England, Scotland, Italy, Spain and Greece/ and in Bulgaria with students from 9th , 10th , 11th , 12th and 13th forms.

On 29th May, 2006, "24 hours", a daily newspaper, published a rating of the best Bulgarian High Schools-language, mathematics and professional. In top 25 of professional high schools, Professional High School of Tourism, Gabrovo ranks seventh. In the state rating,  Professional High School of Tourism places 56th

On  15th , 16th  and 17th May, 2006, Diana Ivanova, the principal of Professional High School of Tourism participates in Labour Market Seminar, held in the Hilton and Sheraton Hotels. It is organized by the National Pedagogical Center.

On 27th April, 2006, Diana Ivanova, the principal of Professional High School of Tourism - Gabrovo participates in a National Conference "Tourism Education and Training in the light of the forthcoming joining to the European Union". It is organized by Tourism Education Council and Geography of Tourism Department at Sofia University.

On 20th March, 2006, students from

10th "B" class, Management in Tourism, were invited to the Ceremonial Hall of Gabrovo Municipality. They met the Town Council Chairwoman - Lena Eneva and Deputy Regional Governor - Nikolai Grigorov. They discussed Euro-integration issues and the way Gabrovo will join the EU in 2007

On 18th March, 2006, by tradition the Regional Round of Geography and Economics Olimpiad was organized in Professional High School of Tourism. Students from Gabrovo, Dryanovo, Sevlievo and Tryavna participated.

On 17th March, 2006 in Neofit Rilski Primary School, the Regional Round of Russian Language Olympiad was organized. Students from secondary schools in Gabrovo, Dryanovo, Tryavna and Sevlievo took part.

 

On  17th March, 2006 in the Ceremonial Hall of Gabrovo Municipality the Regional Round of History and Civilization contest was organized Six teams took part in it - Professional High School of Tourism, Aprilov National High School,  Professional High Schoolof Technics, Professional High School of Textiles and Design - Gabrovo, Professional High School of Economics - Dryanovo.

On  27th , 28th  and 29th November, 2005 in Borovets, 9th National Professional Contest "A young cook, confectioner, waiter and barman" was organized.
